In an ongoing effort, we’re working with Stardust Coffee & Video to promote Art For Asia, an art auction to benefit Tsunami victims. The opening is Friday February 4th at 8pm and the work will hang all of February. All proceeds benefit the American Red Cross Tsunami Relief efforts. Here’s the poster:

You’re invited to come out for the opening and join us in making contributions to the Red Cross.

I’m very proud to say that Citizen Scholar is contributing to a special Tsunami Edition of Building Letters. Building Letters brings together designers world-wide to raise funds for charity projects. The designer collaborations result in a publication and accompanying typefaces that are availabe on the Building Letters site. Edition 3 will be raising funds specifically for Tsunami survivors.

We’ve contributed one character to a multi-designer font themed around flowers and also an illustration for the magazine. Have a look-see:

To my understanding, the flower font will also be available through
My Fonts. We’ll notify you when availability details are known.

Today is the first day of the year, Citizen Scholar, and the rest of forever. Here’s to design and happiness!
