Happily announcing that we’ll be creating a website and identity for artist and good friend, Adam Prince.

We’re happy to announce that our contribution, along with more than 220 other designers, to the Fleurons of Hope typeface is now available at MyFonts.com. We encourage you to purchase the face, which is available in TrueType and OpenType formats, for only $20.

Fleurons of Hope was developed for Font Aid III, a project uniting the international creative community to support relief efforts in the tsunami-affected region. SOTA, a US-based non-profit organization, and Building Letters, a UK charitable concern, launched Font Aid III in response to one of the worst natural disasters in modern times. Font Aid’s typographic flowers will serve as a tribute to those who lost their lives; a helping hand extended to survivors; and a reminder of the awesome power of nature.

Fleurons of Hope will also be availabe in the Building Letters “Tsunami Edition” – a magazine and CD of fonts donated by major foundries and independent designers. Building Letters, an initiative of British designer Jim Richardson, is currently in production in Prague under the direction of Filip Blazek. The Tsunami Edition is scheduled for publication in late March in a limited run of 1,000 copies.

Design for them. We’re doing packaging and related projects for A Scissors’ up-coming tour. A Scissors performs electronic music. I listen to it. I like it. You will too.

I’m in the middle of a campaign for a group art show I’ve been asked to participate in. The show includes nine artists trained in printmaking at UCF, who are working outside the medium. A book I designed will be included in the show that opens at the Casselberry Art House on March 11, 2005.
